Where I’d rather be.

I looked ahead to the end of the urban canyon and saw a dark cloud coming. I knew I would get wet and I had only myself to blame, setting out as I had dressed for a sunny day. In that moment a seagull called and I lifted my head to see her dancing on the wind, high above, beside the lofty alabaster snugs of the well-to-do, gleaming as yet in the morning light. Quite right, I replied, I completely agree.
